Welcome to the revamped 2010 Dimpled Orb website.  As we go online, Michael Wood has been forced to withdraw from this year's event due to medical circumstances.   He will undergo major surgery soon.   This will be the first Golf Trip Michael has ever missed.   Everyone in the field  will miss all that Michael brings to the Trip.  We all pray that Michael makes a speedy recovery and returns to the Southern Pines Invitational next year.

We have made a few changes to the website that we trust you will enjoy.  The new Player Profiles for 2010 are here.   We have kept the Profiles for 2009 here for performance comparisons. 

The Real-Time Leaderboard now occupies its own page, with links to daily scorecards for each round.  This will allow players and fans alike to see how their favorites are doing hole-by-hole.   The Past Results now have their own pages apart from the Leaderboard.  The History of the Golf Trip is still here as a sub-page of Special Features. 

This year we're going to try liveblogging the Golf Trip.  Be sure to check out Fans of the Dimpled Orb on Facebook, and Chuck's OrbTweets on Twitter, for the latest updates from time-to-time as the tournament progresses. 

We have also added a Site Map here.  This general index can get you to about anything on the site if you'd rather dispense with scrolling through pages to get there.  There is also a Site Search engine to the left that can help you find what you are looking for.
